Mark Wiseman joined the Sammamish Symphony in 2002. He is also principal tuba with the Festival Orchestra and has served as principal tuba with the Northwest Mahler Orchestra. As principal tubist with the Northwest Mahler Orchestra, Mark performed in the Seattle premiere of Messiaen's Turangalila Symphony in Benaroya Hall under the direction of Geoffrey Simon. Mark also plays tuba with the Seattle Wind Symphony.

Mark is a founding member of the Raging River Brass. He is a cofounder of the Greater Seattle Area TubaChristmas. He was also a cofounder of the Seattle Tuba-Euphonium Conference which was held at the University of Washington School of Music.

In addition to his orchestral experience, Mark has played in brass quintets, tuba quartets, and jazz big bands. He has also performed as a soloist in recitals throughout the Pacific Northwest. His largest audience was a packed Safeco Field when he performed the National Anthem with a brass quintet for a Seattle Mariners game.

Mark and his wife, Linda, live in Sammamish, Washington with their Golden Retriever, Danny.

Principal
